Working with baby sea turtles. Life is tough.

Last night was great, massive thunderstorms. Literally thunderstorms. It was lightninging and thundering non-stop for atleast an hour. That means constant lights and noises and house shaking. It was amazing! I took some videos but they wont load. I will try again another time. But here are some pics from work today, we helped measure, feed, and clean the baby sea turtles!!

This is one of the little guys who has a mini flipper, but he is doing okay.

This is one of the larger sea turtles we have, it is a green sea turtle and we use him in our programs.

This is Brittney and I. She is another intern and lots of fun.

Here we are again writing down the measurements. The white haired lady is Claire, she was our teacher today. We are obviously learning little and posing lots.

This is the famous NIMBUS!!! He is a little albino turtle! So cute! But that means he will hopefully never get let back into the ocean because he doesn't have the needed campflage to survive in the ocean. He would stick out like a sore thumb.

Close up!

Kim! I'm so glad things are going well for you. We have had quite a crazy life lately. Call and we'll chat sometime. Hope your internship continues to go well.
